Sebastian Bruno-Harris

Visual artist based in South Florida.

Pursuing a practice in sculpture and drawing his work explores a phenomenological inquiry of space and perception.

Sebastian creates drawings and sculptures as phenomenological reflections of perception, investigating how they shape human interaction and behavior.  His entropic mise-en-scènes oscillate between interior and exterior projections of space, drawing landscapes with collapsing distances and warped perspectives, to explore how humans navigate structures and built environments through intangible memories and dreams. Using wood, steel, plaster, wax, and digital media, he also creates sculptures and installations that arouse viewers’ awareness of their orientation and spatialization. The work prompts inquiries into the kaleidoscopic nature of cities, dwellings, built and natural environments.
